Sadly most WG staff use the generic "its against TOS to insult people" to basically do what they want. That's the language you let in the game, not what some goody-goody staff member things is insulting but isn't against TOS. Its a game designed for 13+ year old players, where I'm sure most players are 18-25. This isn't the 5 year old care-bear game where if you say "suck, or moron, or loser" you get on their case. The game is for 13+ year olds, and any language that is fine for teenagers is fine in the game. Any staff member who sends out warnings for basic chat chatter is a useless employee and needs to be fired and replaced. That is the problem of the WG staff, not the players. There are players who've posted here who called their team "useless heavies" or "worthless light tanks" and other generic stuff, and yet noobs crybabies reported them AND they actually got warnings for just saying such basic things. Little things like afk, calling you names that aren't insulting, don't be a useless noobs girl and cry and report, its useless. If they grief and block you in-game because they are crybabies, you can't shoot them like you can in WOT, so report them, that's all you can do, that's all WG allows you to do. If they curse, call you bad racist names, report them. They don't deserve to be in the game, they don't deserve to be playing with others. Go figure.īut wether they answer or not, or wether you think they will answer, you always report people violating TOS. American? britian? Australian? who knows I don't know what country they are from, but they sent me a warning about "insulting a language" lol.
It would be like me saying :"your a useless English noobs" because they were writing in English. I've gotten 1 warning for pm chat which I did deserve, insulting someones country, which really wasn't their country because I don't know what country they are from, they don't speak English, so technically I got in trouble for insulting a language, not a person, not a country. The useless honor system is there for that, they don't want to be bothered with little things, they have youtube to watch, or cellphones to play games instead of doing support right. I'm sure most staff members don't worry about such nonsense. I've called people names like noobs, useless, morons, stupid, idiots, little girls, worthless players, etc and never had any warnings or anything else except for 1 time. In all the games I've played I've only been sent a warning 1 time. Since they never tell you what they did, you never know what they actually did, or if they just hit delete and didn't want to answer anything. Probably bad stuff like cursing, racism, tos violations like that might get some answers, but who knows. It depends on the staff member answering tickets.
I'm sure much of the time they just send a generic warning for little stuff like team blocking, etc. Even if you think they won't do stuff, report the violator anyway.
